Because there is limited support for OEM12c Cloud Control onRHEL 7.2 and OEL 7.2 (see SR #3-12278180291), the HitachiStorage Adapter for Oracle Enterprise Manager does notsupport these platforms.When the Hitachi storage adapter is undeployed on the agents,its directory is not removed. See the User’s Guide to learn howto delete that directory manually.Archived log database files do not appear in the databasereports. Only control files, data files, and redo log files do.On an RAC environment, database-related reports cover onlyone RAC instance.The adapter discovers only UDEV-configured ASM Disks. Anyother forms of configuring ASM disks are not supported in thisrelease.After configuring the License checker instance on the EMCLIhost, sometimes the alert "Please configure License checkerinstance" is not cleared on the remote agent.License-related alerts are not displayed properly on the OELoperating system.In the HNAS Storage Information Report, the same database issometimes listed multiple times because of duplications in theOEM metadata.Under certain conditions, the HNAS Name and MAC ID fieldsare blank in the HNAS NFS Shares Report.Other NotesThe adapter must be deployed on all the remote agents,including the OMS local agent.User-Defined Metrics must be configured.The Hitachi RMLIB Package and Command Control InterfaceCCI or RAID Manager must be pre-installed.The command device should be configured for all VSP Storages.The default collection time for each metric is configured tooptimize communication with storage arrays. the collection time affects the metric collection performance.
