ADOA has procured the services of ConstructionManager-at-Risk (CMAR) that will serve as the generalcontractor throughout construction, and assume the risk ofdelivering the project through a fixed lump sum orGuaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract. This 3.85million project will replace the existing access controlsystem (“brain”); select and issue new access control cards;and integrate the new system with HRIS. The fundamentalframework of the new card access system will facilitatefuture expansion of the system and integration ofadditional building components as funding becomesavailable.Project Status Meetings are being held weekly to discuss progress,issues and construction.
