EVENT SUPPLEMENTAL RULES:4Download and read the ChampCar Endurance Series BCCR: https://champcar.org/rulesReading the rules is required by all CCES drivers, crew and car builders.Download Rules.Use your QR Reader.Pit, Paddock and Garage Supplemental Rules:SRPP1 – Pit lane spaces will be assigned.SRPP2 – No crew members are allowed over the wall untilthe team car has come to a complete stop in the pit box.SRPP3 – The Hot Pit Lane will be the exclusive fueling area.Fueling of race cars shall be completed by use of 5-gallonplastic jugs with hoses or other fueling adapters as specifiedin the ChampCar BCCR. Jugs must have sealable lids/caps.Teams are restricted from having more than 25-gallonsof fuel in their pit stall. Metal fuel drums or other fuelcontainers and caddies with manual pumps (no electricpumps) and hose lines are allowed to re-fill plastic jugs butare not allowed for re-fueling race cars. All fuel storage mustbe maintained on the “cold” side of the pit wall or kept withinyour transporter. Funnels are no longer allowed for fueling.SRPP4 – All teams shall have: one (1) fully-charged 10lbABC fire extinguisher in their pit area; one (1) 10lb bag orcontainer of kitty litter, or other reasonable absorbent for oilleaks and/or fuel spillage in their pit area; a suitable gasolineand/or liquid catch pan must be used during refueling inan appropriate position to catch any spilled fuel. All fueling/ gasoline catch pans MUST be manufactured of metal orsturdy, chemical-resistant plastic, maintain a minimum 3”depth, hold a minimum of 1-gallon (4-quarts) of liquid. Catchpans should be larger than 12” square or 12” in diameter andshould not exceed 24” square or 24” in diameter. Oil drippans work perfectly for this; having a broom and dust panhandy is also advisable.SRPP7 – All team members over the wall during fuelingmust wear a Nomex driver’s suit, gloves and full-facehelmet, Nomex socks, and closed toe shoes. Anyone overthe pit wall while fueling with facial or long hair require abalaclava.Basically the same requirements as the driver, except youmay substitute your approved racing shoes for closed toeshoes. Leather boots are recommended.SRPP8 – Electric, propane or kerosene heaters within the“cold” side of the pit wall are allowed provided all heatingelements or flame sources are directed away from anyflammable material and are kept a minimum of 20’ from anyfuel storage. No open flame stoves or BBQs are allowed inthe cold pits.SRPP9 – All cars, used or junk parts too big for a normaltrash can, empty fuel drums and anything else youbrought with you must be taken out with you. If you leaveit behind, we’ll track you down and it won’t be pretty.SRPP10 - Teams may add up to 10% antifreeze to theirradiators for this event.SRPP11 - Headlights are required on the race cars per theBCCR.SRPP5 – Drivers may remain in the car during fueling anddriver changes may also be completed. All engines andelectrical kill switches must be off during fueling. NO WORKON ANY CAR SHALL BE COMPLETED DURING REFUELING.SRPP6 – All work and/or repairs that can be made to yourrace cars in under thirty (30) minutes may be executed inthe Pit Lane; all repairs requiring more than 30 minutestime must be completed in the Paddock Area. SUPPLEMENTAL RULES AND EVENT INFOHeadlights: Headlights will be required this year. All cars must haveheadlights installed and turned on by 5:00pm. I’m not making thatmistake again! Bring your headlights this time.ChampCar.Live! : Not availableRace Control Radio Frequency - 151.625 MHzTest & Tune Information: Test days for Champcar Endurance Series.You MUST be competing in the event following the Test Day in orderto register. Any cancellations MUST be recieved by calling Taylorat the speedway office 860-923-2280 no later than 24 hours inadvance to receive a refund. 200 fee for the test ick on “August 31”.Then click on “BOOK NOW”.Pit Vehicles: N/AWaiver and Wristbands: ALL drivers and crew must report to theticket window at registration to sign the waiver and receive a waiverwristband. You will not be allowed access to the track without thiswristband. Only the team captain needs to check in at registrationto receive driver and crew credentials.Electrical Hookups in Pit / Paddock: None. Bring generators.Pit Passes: Teams are advised that any and all team members,family, guests who desire event access MUST purchase a Pit Passthrough ChampCar. Pit Passes will be available for 20. ChampCarmembers can obtain a free pit pass by showing their membershipcard.Pets: Pets must remain on leashes and under the direct control oftheir owners at all times. No pets on pit-lane.Children: Children must be under the supervision of a parent orguardian at all times. No small children on pit-lane.Camping: Teams may use self-contained campers in their paddockspaces. Traditional camping spaces are available just inside the maingate.Barbeques: BBQ’s are allowed in the camping area only, provided allBBQ’s are supervised at all times, a fire extinguisher is within 15’ ofthe open flame, and all open flames are (at a minimum) 20’ from allrace cars, fuel storage or other flammable sources.Bathrooms / Showers: Restrooms and Showers are on site.Gate: 24-HoursGarages: Garage spaces are 16’ wide and approximately 30’ deep.Garages may be booked online up to 2 days in advance. If it iswithin 2 days of an event, please call the TSMP office at 860-9232280 in order to reserve a garage. If it is within 24 hours of theevent all available stalls will be first come first serve on site the dayof the Concessions: The facility restaurant on site will be open.Garage rental check-in is available at the Guest Registration buildingat the main entrance upon arrival. You will recieve a sticker thatmust be displayed on your windshield for garage access.Fuel on site: Sunoco Racing Fuels are available 24/7 at our SunocoFuel Station.
