VIPER WRLMINI MK II - MID MK II - MAXI MK IISEAL - SCRAPER - VRC - SELECTION GUIDESEAL SELECTIONViper seals are designed to have some interferencewith the rope, depending on its size and type, with aninterference of up to 3mm allowable for standard 6 & 8strand ropes. For compact, non-rotating or wireline typeropes which do not have valleys, a maximum interferenceof 1mm is recommended as these ropes do not allow forthe same amount of seal deflection within the collar.SCRAPERSELECTIONViper recommend that wire ropes bephysically measured prior to orderingseals and scrapers as ropes in servicemay vary in size.
