Enrolling in CoursesWhen students return to school inAugust, information will be provided onthe process by which students willenroll in the dual credit class.35

What students say aboutdual credit “It’s a college course that doesn’t require an AP exam. Ialready have taken multiple AP exams, so this was a wayfor me to get another college credit without adding moreoverwhelming afterschool work.”“Because it counts as a college class, I can get some ofmy college credits out of the way.”36

What students say aboutdual credit “It’s easier to take this class in high school than to payfor it in college when you could be taking one of theclasses you need for your major. The class is prettystraightforward and if you work hard and payattention, you’ll get good results.”“You will be taking a lot of notes. You have moreresponsibility to study on your own time, just like youwould for a normal college class. You are given a lotless busy work.”37

**IMPORTANT**Students WILL NOT beenrolled in a dual creditcourse until all paperwork hasbeen submitted to thecounselor’s office and TSIscores are met, if applicable.38
