VISTAELITE SM4 EVENTION PR SERVICE, SECURITY, SOLUTIONS SINCE 1924 RECOVERY NNING PLA RESPONSE Report to the Aviation Community An Investment in Aviation Safety

1.5 Million An Unparalleled Financial Investment in Aviation Safety “I am convinced that aviation in itself is not inherently dangerous but I do personally feel that the air, to an even greater extent than the sea, is terribly unforgiving of any carelessness, incapacity or neglect.” Now, in the 21st century, through our Vista Elite and SM4 Captain A.G. Lamplugh spoke these words as part of an aviation safety statistics presentation made to the Royal Aeronautical Society in 1931. The quote, reproduced countless times on posters and plaques, is famous but few realize Captain Lamplugh’s direct connection to the aviation insurance industry. He is the person who began the company that would evolve over the course International Helicopter Safety Team and the Air Charter Safety programs, we are expanding our support for improving safety for all operators and service providers. We continue to support the Flight Safety Foundation, the NBAA Safety Committee, the Foundation among others. These institutions, along with all of the major trade organizations that we are closely aligned with, are benefiting from our personal and financial assistance to make general aviation safer each and every day. Since 2010, Global Aerospace has invested more than 1,500,000 in safety training and resources on behalf of its clients and the entire aviation community. of nine decades into Global Aerospace. Our company is proud of its safety-focused heritage. Our history is replete with examples of our passion for and commitment to improving aviation safety. In the 1960s, when the business community first explored the potential for sophisticated corporate travel utilizing jet aircraft, we created our Safety and Engineering department. We worked closely with manufacturers and training providers to outline the operating practices that set the foundations for safety. These initial groups and committees created the tools and guidance that continuously improved commercial and business aviation’s safety performance for the next 50 years. What would Captain Lamplugh make of our 21st century aviation world? It is tempting to say that he would find that aviation has advanced way beyond what he could have envisioned in 1931, but that, sadly, our war on human error has not advanced nearly as far. Therefore, our work continues. This report provides a snapshot of what we are accomplishing with our newest aviation safety initiatives. Human factors, emergency response, in-flight medical assistance, adherence to standards and modern safety management are combined in our groundbreaking SM4 program. We hope that, as you read these pages, you will be inspired to join with us as we work to make every flight a safe flight. Jeffrey Bruno USA Chief Underwriting Officer Global Aerospace focuses tremendous resources on a safer aviation environment.
