PREPARATION AND HISTORY Your Lexus SELECT Approved Pre-Owned vehicle has been meticulously checked by our specialist Lexus technicians inside, outside and underneath to provide complete peace of mind. Our thorough preparation covers all areas influencing your car. 1. Independent Vehicle Checks We check data from different sources to prove that your Lexus SELECT vehicle is everything you hoped it to be. These in-depth checks confirm: SELECT vehicle had an incomplete or non-Lexus Centre service history, it has now been given a major service by us. àVehicle History – our experts will confirm the history of the vehicle, check whether there are any outstanding finance agreements and ensure the vehicle has not been stolen or written off. You will be provided with full information if the car had a registration change or was imported or exported. àVehicle Mileage – You’ll want to feel certain that the mileage of your vehicle is genuine. A comprehensive check which uses a variety of sources is carried out to ensure your vehicle’s mileage has not been tampered with. In many cases, previous owners will be contacted to verify their mileage. àService History – Your Lexus SELECT vehicle has an up-to-date service record showing that it has been fully serviced by Lexus qualified technicians. The full 150 multipoint vehicle checklist is available on request PREPARATION AND HISTORY 2. 150 Multipoint Vehicle Check Once the history and mileage checks have been passed and any necessary servicing has been carried out, our Lexus technicians take to the wheel to make sure your vehicle is absolutely safe to drive away today. They test: 5

12 MONTH LEXUS WARRANTY àA one year warranty – similar to the manufacturer’s warranty – with unlimited mileage cover. We will repair and/or replace vehicle parts and components which are faulty as a result of mechanical or electrical failure. àAn additional warranty covering wear and tear for batteries, exhausts and wiper blades for 3 months or 3,000 miles – whichever comes first. àAn MOT test warranty covering the repair and replacement of warranted parts where these cause your vehicle to fail its MOT test. àThe Hybrid Health Check, will cover all hybrid batteries for one additional year or 10,000 miles. You will receive a written report that provides understanding about the hybrid unit and how to use it most efficiently. àReplacement hire car for up to 5 days (excluding first 24 hours) and hotel accommodation for one night up to 150. This is in addition to benefits provided through the Lexus Roadside Assistance package. Your Lexus SELECT Approved Pre-Owned Roadside Assistance includes: àRoadside assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year anywhere in the UK (including cover whilst driving or being carried as a passenger in other cars) àPan-European cover for up to 90 days àHome start àRoadside recovery Our Lexus Roadside Assistance Team will answer your call, no matter how small; whether it’s a lost set of keys or a flat battery that’s keeping you stationary. For more significant problems that can’t be fixed on the spot, they’ll take you, your passengers and your vehicle to any UK destination of your choosing. This also includes any trailer or caravan your vehicle was towing at the time (up to 7 metres in length). You can extend the service to include a nominated partner, providing they live at the same address. Please make sure that you have read and understood the terms and conditions fully. You should sign below only if you agree to be bound by them. 1à Subject to the following terms and conditions, any vehicle purchased from a Lexus Centre (‘the Centre’) with Lexus Select status (‘the Vehicle’) may be exchanged for another vehicle (‘the Replacement Vehicle’) at the same Centre, providing that: à (a)àthe Centre is satisfied that the Customer is a private purchaser (and not a trade purchaser or otherwise); à (b)àthe Centre is satisfied that, with the exception of fair wear and tear, the Vehicle is in the same condition as at the time of delivery to the Customer; à (c)àthe Vehicle is returned to the supplying Centre within 30 days of the delivery date; à (d)àthe Vehicle has covered no more than 1,000 miles since delivery to the Customer; à (e)àthe Centre is satisfied that the Customer owns the Vehicle and is fully entitled to exchange it under the Agreement. 2à The Customer may choose any vehicle as the Replacement Vehicle, provided that: à (a)à it is readily available at the same Centre, and à (b)àit is of an equal or higher value than the original invoice price of the Vehicle. 3à Before any exchange is effected under the Agreement, the Customer shall be responsible for making all the necessary arrangements relating to terminating, transferring, taking out or otherwise dealing with the financing arrangements for the purchase of the original Vehicle and the Replacement Vehicle. Any exchange shall be subject to the Centre being satisfied with such arrangements. In particular, if the original Vehicle is subject to a Hire Purchase Agreement, a new agreement must be completed and the relevant deposits paid by the Customer. 4à Where the Customer has chosen a Replacement Vehicle with a higher price, the price difference must be paid to the Centre before the exchange takes place. 5à The Customer will be responsible for any additional costs resulting from the exchange such as transferring insurance or personalised number plates. 6à This Agreement only applies to the Vehicle as detailed overleaf. Only one exchange will be considered and this Agreement shall not apply to any Replacement Vehicle. 7à This Agreement does not affect any of the Customer’s statutory rights.
