I wouldstartby removingsome of the bureaucracythat can mean we tie ourselvesin knots and makingmembershipas straightforwardfor everyone as it possiblycan be. I've also seen the value of working withotherorganisationsto achieve a common goal. Even when we may start from slightlydifferentpoints, we cancome togetherto achieve what is needed.In s u m m a r y . . .My career has never w o r k e d o u t t h e way I t h o u g h t it w o u l d , b u t my service in t h e RAF and TA helped to prepareme for b o t h t h e g o o d experiences and t h e challenges. I hope it also gave me t h e experience and skills t h a t I hopehelp me t o be a successful Trustee f o r The Royal British L e g i o n . I have learned so m u c h in my first year, and hopet o be able t o build on t h a t if elected this t i m e a r o u n d .
