HIGH-PERFORMANCE DRIVING FEATURESTRANSMISSION FLUIDThe Dual Clutch Transmission fluid and filter should be changed when indicated by thetransmission fluid life system. A Change Transmission Fluid Soon message will be displayed on the Driver Information Center. Fluid and filter change intervals are based on acombination of factors, including temperature and miles driven. Fluid should be changedafter every 24 hours of track use. Reset the transmission fluid life system every timethe fluid is changed. The transmission filter also must be changed at the first oil changeinterval. Two extra liters of transmission fluid is recommended for track use.RUN-FLAT TIRESThe run-flat tires eliminate the need for a spare tire. The tire design enables safe function during and after a loss of pressure for some distance at a moderate speed.Driving only a short distance with a loss of pressure increases the chance that the tirecan be repaired. Contact Roadside Assistance for the nearest run-flat tire servicing facility.SUMMER TIRESFYour vehicle may be equipped with high-performance summer tires, which have a specialtread and compound that are optimized for maximum dry and wet road performance. The special tread and compound of the tires will have decreased performance in coldclimates and on ice and snow.Winter or all-season tires are recommended for the vehicle if driving at temperaturesbelow approximately 40 F (5 C) or on ice- and snow-covered roads.TIRE TEMPERATUREThe Tire Status page under thePerformance menu on the DriverInformation Center shows individual tirepressures and overall temperature aseither Cold, Cool, Normal, Warm, or Hot. ANormal temperature is typical for normaldriving and a Warm temperature is typicalfor aggressive driving.TIRE PRESSURE MONITORTheLow Tire Pressure warning light on the instrument cluster illuminates when oneor more of the vehicle’s tires is significantly underinflated. Fill the tires to the proper tirepressures listed on the Tire and Loading Information label, located below the driver’sdoor latch. Current tire pressures can be viewed on the Driver Information Center.Note: Refer to your Owner’s Manual for information about normal monthly tire maintenance.TIRE FILL ALERTWith the ignition On or in Accessory mode, the Tire Fill Alert will provide visual andaudible alerts when inflating a tire. When the recommended tire pressure is reached, thehorn sounds and the turn signal changes from flashing to a solid light.See Vehicle Care in your Owner’s Manual.F Optional equipment11

HIGH-PERFORMANCE DRIVING FEATURESROAD VARIATIONSThe wide tires of the Corvette provide excellent grip and road feel; however, the widedesign may be susceptible to grooves, wear patterns, and the crown on some roads.BRAKE DUSTThe high-performance brake materials and large size of the brakes may result in a finedust coating the outer surface of the wheels. Wash the wheels with regular soap andwater to remove the dust. Automatic car washes are not recommended.See Vehicle Care in your Owner’s Manual.LOW GROUND CLEARANCEFRONT LIFT SYSTEMFThe Front Lift System will lift the frontof the vehicle when entering a driveway, driving over curbs or speed bumps, andpulling onto ramps or a trailer. The systemfeatures a two-position lift actuator thatwill hydraulically raise the front of thevehicle to provide approximately 2 inchesof increased clearance in approximately3 seconds. The system can be operated atspeeds up to 24 MPH.Press theFront Lift System buttonon the center console to raise or lowerthe vehicle.Note: The Front Lift System will not raise thevehicle with the door, hood, or trunk open, and itwill automatically lower the vehicle at speeds over24 MPH or when the vehicle is turned off.REMEMBER LOCATIONThe front height of the vehicle can beraised automatically at up to 1,000 locations using GPS navigation. To turn the Location-Based Front LiftSystem on or off, go to Settings Vehicle Ride Height. To select a location, after theFrontLift System button is pressed, select“Remember” on the Driver InformationCenter (DIC) by pressing thebutton on the DIC controls. After passing the programmed location, the vehicle will lower automatically when speedexceeds 24 mph or if thebutton is pressed.Note: Some Front
