He serves as a board member for the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in NorthCarolina and is recent past chairman of the YMCA Metro South Group, a professional organization madeup of CEOs from the 30 largest YMCAs in the Southeast. Scot is also a recent graduate of the inauguralclass of Greenville Health System's Medical Scholars program.He earned a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi College and has also completed executivedevelopment programs through Harvard University, MIT and Tufts University.Fred F. Carpenter is a native of Greenville and a retired banking executive. His bankingduties included Real Estate, Commercial and Retail Lending and banking operations. Heserved two terms as an at-large member of Greenville City Council and as Vice Mayor,retiring in 2001.His current and previous community service includes the Peace Center Board, YMCAEndowment, Greenville Chamber of Commerce and Gateway House.Fred holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Darla Moore School of Business(USC).W. Michael Ellison, Secretary, is a banking professional with more than 45 years ofexperience in credit administration, commercial banking, retail banking, cash management,and professional & executive banking. He currently serves as a vice president with TD Bank,where he is responsible for managing a team of credit officers in the Greenville SmallBusiness Credit Center who underwrite small business loans for TD markets from Maine toMiami.Mike chairs the Greenville Health Authority Grant Committee. He also currently serves on the PrismaHealth-Upstate Board of Directors. He has served on numerous boards, including the Laurens CountyHealthcare Foundation, the Family YMCA of Laurens where he served as chair, United Way of LaurensCounty and Piedmont Technical College Board of Visitors. He also served on and chaired the LaurensCounty Health Care System board before the organization merged with Greenville Health System. Donna O. Smith, is the Manager and Broker in Charge for C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS. Sheis an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), andGraduate Realtors Institute (GRI). Donna serves as a director for the National Association ofREALTORS. She is active in the Greer Community.Alysia B. Tripp, brings a wealth of experience with her background in government, politics,and as a community volunteer.
