High Tonnage Chillers - In small spaces.“Manhattan Modular ”The New Standard of serviceprofessionals has resulted in a new generation of ArcticChill’spopular “Manhattan Modular” Chillers. Now, even more compactdesigns are available, air-cooled and water-cooled, with morecapacity and new features.Standard and custom designs to hundreds of tons allow simplifi .Microprocessor control systems across all modules allow severalstages of compressor unloading to precisely match energy usage to your heat load. Modules are standard with cleanableshell & tube evaporators and condensers. Options include Free-Cooling modules, Tank and Pump Systems, Glycol-FeedSystems, VFD Fan Drives, high efficiency brazed plate condensers and evaporators, and water valves for systemefficiency and variable flow schemes.Simple Concept - Ultimate FlexibilityDesign and Installation Indoor, outdoor and split designs Compact modules fit through doors Field-assembly of large systems High pressure heat exchangers Modules connect easily and quickly Single point connectionsDurable and Dependable Corrosion free epoxy over aluminum Multiple independent circuits Quick access service panels Highest reliability control system Inherent component redundancyOperation and Service No proprietary training required Excellent part-load efficiency Isolate & service individual modules Modbus, BACnet or LonWorks interfaceNumerous Options Tanks and pumping systems Compressor and condenser options Variable frequency fan drives Glycol-Feed and Free-CoolingUnparalleled Commitment toService and FlexibilityUltimately, our reputation depends on your ection, assembled and tested by highly skilled technicians, and supported by advanced microprocessor control andcommunication systems, there is simply no need for secondbest - no better choice than ArcticChill. Heavy duty componentsthroughout provide true 350 PSI operation, critical for equipmentrooms in high-rise buildings. Scroll, screw or oil-free centrifugalcompressors are available to provide even more precise loadand duty matching. Air-cooled models can be engineered forhigh ambient temperatures. Shell & tube heat exchangersallow larger particles to pass through its surfaces, providingthe signifi cant advantages of easier serviceability and longerservice intervals than with brazed-plate designs. Steel frameminimizes vibration. Mill-finished aluminum or epoxy paintedsheet metal panels are easily removable for access. Low noisefans and compressors and sound attenuating access panels areavailable to meet strict noise level requirements.2component

Water-Cooled Modular ChillersEfficient and Low CostCONTROLS - Systems can be equipped with analog or microprocessorcontrols with remote diagnostics.COMPRESSORS - Scroll, reciprocating and screw compressors providemodels from 20 to 130 HP per module.HEATEXCHANGERS- ArcticChill is the only modular chillermanufacturer to offer cleanable shell and tube evaporators andcondensers as standard features on water cooled modular ndensersareoptionally available.FILTER SERVICE - Innovative easy-access-filter allows non-technicalpersonnel to perform routine service in minutes on brazed platepackage option.MODULES - All package modules are fully charged and run-testedunder load prior to shipment. Connections include single-point electricaland rolled groove couplings for piping.Superior Engineering By DesignWhen we launched the design of a new generation of modular chillers, we enlistedthe hands-on help of our customers. The result incorporates the most sought afterfeatures, some not available from any company, in a low-cost, highly reliable andserviceable design. Filter service is now an easy, non-technical process, reducingcosts and increasing condenser reliability.Know us by the customers we serveand the company we keepNothing speaks louder than the trust and long-term loyalty from customers. In a world wherecompetitors are a click away, we know our niche is in creating higher value by producing closeperformance highly reliable and attractive products using innovative designs, combined withadvanced services. We are honored to be a supplier to these and many other fine companies.Note: All Logos are those of ArctiChill customers and are the property of the respective company and do not reflect a formal endorsement of ArctiChill or our products.3

Air-Cooled “Manhattan Modular”“Manhattan Modular” chillers allow easy field assembly oflarge tonnage systems, without the need for heavy riggingand construction. Quiet operation and highly reliable components and controls provide dependable air-conditioning andmore precise load balancing.ArcticChill - Reliability is Built-In!High Ambient Condenser Coils - Means greater efficiencyand lower refrigerant head pressures, even on hot buildingrooftops. Special coatings and low-noise fans are available.Choice of Compressors - Standard designs featurehermetic scroll compressors. Screw and oil-free centrifugalcompressors are also available.Shell and Tube Evaporators - Known for their ability tooperate in poor water quality environments where brazed-platedesigns can become fouled. Large passages allow particulateto pass through the tube bundle. Eliminates frequent filterservices. Circuits include equalized expansion valves, liquidline solenoid valve and large filter-driers.Standard controls feature single-point electrical connections atthe Master Module. Control system is microprocessor based withone master and multiple slave controllers. System monitors alltemperatures and pressures, compressor run status, and systemalarms. The Master Controller has a 4x20 line display that hasfunction and set point control. Optional VFD fan drives.4

Compact. Serviceable. Expandable. Smart.“Manhattan Modular” chillers are compact enough toeasily field assemble large systems. Service access is thebest of all modular chillers. Individual modules can be isolated without shutting down entire system.Frames are heavy duty welded structural steel and epoxy painted with an extra thick coating. Service panels have tool-freerecessed hardware. Louvers include animal screens. All SlaveModules are connected to the Master Module which houses centralized controls and power connections for the bank of chillers.Pumping systems are optional and can include primary andstandby with automatic pump lead/lag rotation. Pressurizedtank and automatic glycol-feed systems are available.Water Manifolds are schedule 40 steelpipe. Modules are attached using rollgroove couplings. Optional isolation valves.5
