The JSMA works with over 400 schools, youth programs such as Head Start, cultural institutions, houses of worship, facilitiesfor seniors, and businesses in the Eugene area and across western Oregon. As the map below shows, the museum works withorganizations in census tracts that span the economic spectrum. Admission to the museum is free to K-12 and universitystudents, and financial assistance is available for those wishing to participate in programs.

The JSMA offers an active program for youth and families. Programs include art classes for preschool, elementary, middleand high school students during the school year, art camps during school breaks and Family Days, which feature art projectsinspired by museum exhibitions, music and theatrical performances, and family-friendly tours. JSMA’s Education and OutreachPrograms are supported by the Cheryl and Allyn Ford Educational Outreach Endowment Fund, Oregon Arts Commission, UOCenter for Asian and Pacific Studies, and the US Dept. of Education's Title VI fund, Holly GoSlugly's GoArt Education Fund, andgenerous support from our members
