Olympic Champion1. Aly Raisman is an Olympic champion. She is a gymnast. A gymnastruns, jumps, swings, and flips. No one becomes an Olympicchampion overnight. You must practice many hours and work veryhard. Aly worked her whole life to become a champion gymnast.2. Aly began gymnastics when she was two years old. She had to learnto tumble and jump. When Aly was learning, she would fall manytimes. Aly learned different skills. She would watch other gymnaston television.3. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won two gold medals. My Gymnastics Dream1. Mary was excited. The gymnastics team was performing atthe school. Mary wanted to watch them. She had beenpracticing very hard. Mary knew if she could watch the teamit would help her get better.2. As Mary was sitting on the bleachers she noticed a gymnastnext her. She did not look happy. The other gymnast wasnamed Nancy. Mary asked her what was wrong.3. Nancy held up her ankle. It was black and swollen. She said,“My ankle is hurt and I cannot participate today. Without mewe will not have enough girls”.4. Mary told Nancy, “I am a gymnast, can I help? I have beenpracticing very hard”.5. Nancy hugged Mary and told her thank you. Mary ran outand joined the team.
