Oneside of the church will maintain seating in every other pew; theother half will be opened completely. It is up to each individual todecide where they sit and whether or not they wear a mask, vaccinated or not. This year the Holy Mass and homily will be celebrated by a priest from the Missionaries of St. Francis, otherwise known as the Fransalians. Although their congregation was founded in Annecy, France in 1837, as missionaries, their major presence is now in Asia and Africa along with newmissions in South America. They are now globally present in 29 counties with 12 provinces, one region and four delegations with total membership of morethan 1500 confreres. Their main missionary charism is the pioneering evangelization in the non-evangelized countries and theeducation of the less privileged youth through children’s homesand orphanages. More then 3500 economically poor, semi orphanor orphan children are cared for and educated in their 93 children’s homes both in India and Africa. The Fransalians are alsoactive in the Philippines, Ecuador, Indonesia and Brazil wherethey promote and train missionary vocations to prepare individuals for both pioneering evangelization and the renewal of Christian life in different countries and are actively engaged in the empowerment of women and the marginalized.Welcome our missionary, Fr. No other person or institution or situation candeprive us of a sense of integrity and dignity as deeply andpainfully as we can deprive ourselves. We Christians knowthat our God releases us from that pain. Isn't there someone inyour life who would like to hear that good news. Invite yourspouse, relative or your friend to an RCIA Inquiry Session.Inquiry Sessions do not ask for commitments. Inquiry sessionsare a place to ask questions about God or about the CatholicFaith. Inquiry Sessions are opened to anyone who is unbaptized, baptized into another Christian Denomination or baptized Catholic but has not received BOTH sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. Inquiry sessions are continuingthrough the summer. Call Fr. Tom for more information.3
