We’ve designed the perfect camp for your child, complete with all the fun, enriching activities they love, and the important safety measures and flexible hours you expect. And with many options to choose from, campers will have endless, AWESOME experiences to keep them engaged and excited all summer long. Each week, students in rising 1st through 5th grade jump into action as they explore science and nature, become involved in creative and performing arts, and participate in sports and games. Our camp features a unique selection of indoor and outdoor activities and field trips that take advantage of resources in the local area. See our field trip section for our full list of offerings. Give your child a jump-start to kindergarten by enrolling in our Kindergarten Enrichment program. We work on sharpening literacy and math skills, while also providing opportunities for your child to practice kindergarten etiquette through authentic play and collaborative learning. SUMMER @ CARRINGTON ACADEMY 2023 School-Age Day Camp Where every day is AWESOME Rising 1st – 5th Grade Each week, students in rising kindergarten through 6th grade jump into action as they explore science and nature, become involved in creative and performing arts, and participate in sports and games. Our activity blocks give campers fun and variety in their camp day. Life in Color MVP Sports Kids Helping Kids Create Your Own Story Think bold! Campers will push boundaries of perception through a variety of projects that are meant to improve skills and inspire creativity. We're putting a fun and competitive edge on sports for all skill levels. From foursquare to dodgeball, there is something for everyone to try. Our campers will pay it forward as they help others in need by planning a community service event from brainstorm to implementation. Campers tap into their imagination by participating in storytelling through group projects and peer interactions that encourage positive relationships. Color Wars STEAM 360 Puzzled Out Center Stage Our daily pep rally is a time for campers to gather for songs, chants, and challenges that promote collaboration. Campers will collaborate to solve problems, while developing a love of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Brain teasers, puzzles, and riddles help campers improve logic, reasoning, problem-solving, and math skills in an exciting way. There will be plenty of opportunities to be in the spotlight as campers develop creativity and confidence through singing, dancing, and acting. Makerspace Cardboard Innovators Science Challenges Creativity and construction collide in our Makerspace. Campers will plan and build 3D objects using wood, clay, PVC, and more. The simple material of cardboard can be literally anything! Campers' imaginations will be put to the test as they use cardboard to create cars, forts, costumes, and more. Practical and fun experiments and projects send campers home with the enthusiasm and knowledge required to take the sciences further as hobbies. Cartoons & Comics Campers explore the exciting world of cartoons and comics while learning about the history of some of their favorites and illustrating their own. Camp offerings subject to change. SUMMER @ CARRINGTON ACADEMY 2023 School-Age Day Camp Where every day is AWESOME Rising 1st – 5th Grade Tuition & Fees Available Weeks: *No Camp July 4th Registration: 25 Week 1: May 30 – June 2 Activity Fee: 15 per week Week 2: June 5 – 9 Camp Tuition: Week 3: June 12 – 16 Week 4: June 19 – 23 5 days: 248 Week 5: June 26 – 30 Week 6: July 3 – 7* Hours: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM Week 7: July 10 – 14 Week 8: July 17 – 21 Week 9: July 24 – 28 Payment Policy: One week’s tuition is due at time of enrollment. We will apply the deposit to the final week of camp. Weekly camp fees are due every Monday morning at drop-off. We will charge a 25 late fee if payment is not received by 12 pm Tuesday. Cancelation Policy: If you enroll in camp and your plans change, or you have concerns about your child attending camp this summer, you can receive a full refund/credit for camp tuition, less registration fee. Program change request must be received 2 weeks prior to enrolled camp week start date. Participants who do not attend their registered camp week, or who do not contact us to cancel two weeks prior to start date, will not receive a refund or credit. Ages 1 - 4 As a continuation of our Links to Learning curriculum, our summer program is a fun-filled adventure for children ages 1 to 4. Each week, preschoolers jump into action, participating in fun and exciting activities and special events. Our activity blocks are sprinkled throughout each week, giving preschoolers fun and variety in their camp day. Get Crafty Game Time Kids Helping Kids Campers will get crafty as they use a hodgepodge of materials to create wacky and abstract masterpieces. Campers will practice sportsmanship through sports and games that focus on sharing, taking turns, and being a good friend. Our campers will learn the importance of giving back as they work together to help community members in need. Minute to Win it Ready, set, go! Campers will get a thrill from working together to complete fun, and sometimes silly, tasks before the time runs out on the clock. Under Construction Move to the Beat H2O Fun Adventure Explorers We'll be making quite the mess this summer as campers participate in hands-on building projects using Legos, foam, clay, and more. This summer, students will gain independence and self confidence as they move their bodies and explore various musical instruments. Splish, splash! Campers will keep cool as they play waterthemed games, explore at water tables, run through sprinklers, and much more! Campers join forces to solve puzzles and scavenger hunt games while developing problem-solving, memory, and reasoning skills. . Little Sprouts STEAMing Along Our young environmentalists will get their hands dirty as they learn all about how sunshine, water, and nurturing helps tiny seeds grow into plants. Our little learners will experience S.T.E.A.M. through fun projects that encourage them to ask questions, problem solve, and explore. Camping Out Out of this World Children become master campers as they set up tents, sing campfire songs, make yummy treats, and explore other fun camping activities. 3, 2, 1. blast off!
