If you feel that your child needs additionaltasks look at the objectives in the band above.

Look at the part of the word which is ‘tricky’ e.g. To – ‘t’ canbe sounded out but it is the ‘o’ sounds like an ‘u’.-The words in green can be sounded out using ‘Fred Fingers’. This means you sound out the word and show how many sounds are in the worde.g. g-ir-l needs 3 ‘Fred Fingers’.
