An ibidevice is compatible with the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless personal areanetwork technology that is part of the Bluetooth 4.0 and later wireless technologystandards. Compatibility can vary, depending on hardwareconfiguration and operating system. For highest performance and reliability, alwaysinstall the latest updates.Web Browser CompatibilityAn ibi device can be accessed with an Internet browser. Using the most current, stablecombinations of operating system and web browser will provide the best results. This is a tiny recessed buttonthat requires something similar to the pointy end of a paper clip to be pressed.Table 1.5Reset ButtonFunctionDevice OperationPress for 1 to 29secondsDuring this function the ibi device will enter an auxiliary setup mode, enabling ibi totemporarily become a wireless access point. This process can be used if ibi is not beingrecognized through Bluetooth during the setup process.Press for 30 to50 secondsThis function will demote the Device Owner to a Device User in order to changeownership of the ibi device. This does not delete data and each user still has access totheir data. However, when this process occurs, the next user to go through the setupprocess on the device becomes the device owner.
