Exam Scores You will receive your scores immediatelyfollowing the TEAS exam TEAS scores are valid for up to 3 years before theclinical application deadlines We determine TEAS points based on student’scomposite score, not the Adjusted Individual totalscore. You must complete the TEAS before theapplication deadline in order for it to beconsidered for that specific deadline

Scoring TEAS points are based on the Composite Score– The Composite score is an average of an applicant'sReading, Math , Science and English/Language usagescores. How to find your Composite Score First you will round up/down the section scoreswhich are reported as a percentage, in decimalformat (e.g. 70.5%). Section scores will berounded up or down to the nearest wholenumber (.4 or lower will be rounded down; .5 orhigher will be rounded up)– Ex. Reading: 79.5% (rounded up to 80)Math: 62.1% (rounded down to 62)Science: 68.3% (rounded down to 68)English: 74.5% (rounded up to 75)

How to find your Composite Score cont. Once you have rounded your section scores, youwill then find the average (add up all the numbersand then divide by 4). The average will be yourComposite ScoreScoresReading: 8080 62 68 75 285Math: 62285/4 71.25Science: 68Composite Score 71English: 75
