Distinguished Scholars were selectedon the basis of criteria developed by high school students, teachers and administrators, including gradepoint average; number of honors, advanced placement and other higher level courses; total credit hours;activities; and community service. High school teachers nominated Distinguished Achievers based onexcellence in a specific curricular area, leadership, service or overcoming obstacles to achievement.EDUCATORSA Celebration of Excellence honors the Distinguished Educators. Each student identified an educator torecognize who has had a significant, positive impact on his or her life and wrote a short message about whythat educator was selected. The Helena Education Foundation salutes these fine educators and thanks themfor sharing their talents, knowledge, creativity and love of learning with our youth.
