ABOUT US“If you are lucky enoughto have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of yourlife it stays with you,for Paris is a moveable feast.”- Ernest Hemingway –A quarter century after Hemingway uttered these linesI found myself, fresh out of college, alone and broke in Paris(Not unlike the young Mr. Hemingway 50 years earlier). That first madcap week left me hopelessly and irretrievablyhooked on La Ville Lumiere. In the intervening 40 yearsand 30 return visits Paris has indeed stayed with me,holding me and taunting me with all that I have yet todiscover.Over the years friends began asking me to help plan andeventually to host their trips to the French Capital andvarious spots on the Continent. Thus was born what hasbecome my vocation and passion: sharing Paris, its culture, history and joie-de-vivre.More than just a moveable feast, Paris is also a movingtarget. Keeping up with its ever evolving trends and fashionsis a full-time job. Just monitoring the restaurant scene is adaunting task, but one I relish. In 2000 I found a kindred spirit in my wife, Debbie.A longtime PanAm Airline employee, Debbie has always hadthe travel bug and together we live and lust for the nextadventure in the City of Light. I’m the history buff andlogistics guru and Debbie is the shopper, social chairman, and glue that binds us to all our travel companions. We hope you will join us for the next Moveable Feast,REVIEWSIf your goal is to see Paris and Europe in a beautifullyorganized fashion, with emphasis on well situated boutiquehotels and historic, highly rated restaurants with just theright amount of historical info along the way, you've foundthe best trip planners in Mike and Debbie. We've been onthree of their masterfully designed trips: Paris & LoireValley, Italy, and Central Europe. Each trip surpassed theone before it.
