Prerequisites

SAP HANA SAP Marketing runs on an SAP FND on HANA with SAP HANA database as the only supporteddatabase. SAP HANA is delivered as appliance by the hardware partners, which means that SAP HANA isfully installed and preconfigured on the delivered server. You find a list of hardware partners here. As there are different SAP HANA sizes ensure a proper sizing in advance. HTTPS All connections are defaulted to use only securedHTTPS/TLS calls. HTTPS requires SSL certificates on server and trusted by theclient. SAP AS ABAP and SAP HANA are delivered with empty truststores, so each server certificate or root certificateauthorization needs to be maintained explicitly. Connections are established from ABAP to SAP HANA, fromthe SAP Web Dispatcher to the SAP HANA and ABAPendpoints, and from ABAP systems to the external services,e.g. Amazon, social channels, etc. The SAP Web Dispatcher certificate should be trusted by theusers’ browsers. 2019 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company. Technical Configuration Cockpit The transaction CUAN TECHNICAL CONF starts the browser-based TC Cockpit toconfigure the system.– The cockpit allows you to execute the configuration for SAP Marketing dependingon the features you want to use.– With the new tile „Notes for RIN Implemented“ customer can check easily if allrelevant SAP Notes are implemented.– The scenario „Essentials“ is mandatory and has to be run first. You will be able toadd the necessary parameters, and start the execution in background.– After successful completion of “Essentials” you can configure further features viathe cockpit.
