Unemployment Insurance BenefitsEarnings Verification SystemState law requires that both employers and claimants reportearnings correctly.Use our Unemployment Insurance Benefits Earnings Verification systemto respond to the Request for Earnings Information letter and EarningsVerification form.TWC uses earnings information to determine whether a claimant'sunemployment benefits are paid correctly. When the earnings amountsprovided by the claimant and employer differ, the claimant'sunemployment benefits may be adjusted.2

Getting StartedWhat You Will NeedTo log on, you need the claimant's Social Security number and an AccessKey, provided on the Request for Earnings Information letter or EarningsVerification form.3

Getting Started . . .TWC first needs to know if the claimant is still working for the employer,and if they worked in the weeks indicated in the box.Answer bothquestions,then click“Next” to goto theEmploymentDetails screen.4

Employment & Earnings DetailsIf the claimant is not currentlyworking for the employer, you will betaken to the Employment Detailsscreen. Provide the first and last datesthe claimant worked, and indicate thetype of job separation.If the claimant is currently working forthe employer, you will go directly tothe “Earnings Details” screen on thenext page.5

Employment & Earnings Details . . .Enter the Actual Gross Earnings for the claimant for each 7-day week listed. TWC defines the 7-day week as Sunday to Saturday Actual Gross Earnings should include only those wages earned through actual work(do not include vacation, severance, or other additional pay) Use whole dollar amounts, rounding down, without symbols or punctuation.6

Submitter InformationEnter your first and last name, and phone number in the submitterinformation fields.7

Review & SubmitEnsure that information is correct.8

Review & Submit . . .If so, check the box certifying that you are authorized to submit theearnings data on behalf of the employer, and that the information is true,accurate, and complete, then click the “Submit” button.If any of the data is not correct or complete, select the “Previous” buttonto return to the previous page and correct.9

ConfirmationOnce you click “Submit,” aconfirmation will appear onthe next page to indicateyou have successfullycompleted the EarningsVerification.10

Confirmation . . .Once you have successfully submitted the earnings verification data, youmay review, print, or save the confirmation page, which provides proof ofsubmission.Congratulations! You have now completed the Earnings Verification formonline.11
