RULES & REGULATIONSAdditional Directory ListingsAisles — Usage of and Equipment PlacementCompanies may submit a separate Corporate Listingapplication, available from IBIE, and pay a 2,500 fee forthe company’s divisions, subsidiaries/international partnersto be listed on the official IBIE website and in the OfficialShow Directory.Public aisles may not be utilized by exhibitors. All businessmust be conducted within the booth and equipment mustbe arranged so that show visitors are not required to standin the aisles to examine equipment. No exhibit displaymaterial, signs or advertising matter will be allowed toextend beyond the space allotted to the exhibitor.Submission of this listing will entitle the division/subsidiaryto a listing of their contact information once the enhancedonline exhibitor listings are activated. The exhibit boothlisting on the floor plan still remains under the name of thecompany who submitted and signed the official SpaceApplication and Contract.Admission to the Exhibit HallVisitors and Exhibitor Personnel Minimum AgeNo one under 13 years of age will be admitted to the exhibithall at any time. This rule will be strictly enforced by ShowManagement for safety and insurance purposes. At no timewill children in strollers be permitted into the exhibit hall.Exhibitor Admittance During Non-Show HoursRepresentatives of exhibiting companies will not bepermitted to enter the exhibit hall earlier than 6:00 am,for the express purpose of getting the booth and productsready for the 10:00 am opening each day. This admittanceshould not be used as time to tour the exhibit hall andenter any other exhibitor’s booth.Exhibitors that require additional time may makearrangements for earlier admittance by obtaining specialcredentials in the Show Management Office the day before.Exhibitor representatives will not be permitted to remain inthe exhibit hall more than one hour after the closing houreach night, with the exception of the final night, unlessadvance arrangements are made through the ShowManagement Office.Exhibitor’s product equipment, or booth construction maynot be placed within 10 feet of neighboring exhibitors, norobstruct the view of neighboring exhibits from the view ofvisitors passing through the aisles, or as determined by IBIE.Exhibitors are not permitted to have bridges over aislespace or to use carpet in public aisles.For all booths 50 feet wide or greater, the travel distancewithin the exhibit booth or exhibit enclosure to an exitaccess aisle shall not exceed 50 feet. For questions ormore information about this rule, please contact KevinAivaz, Senior Manager of Convention Services, Las VegasConvention Center, at kaivaz@lvcva.com.Alcoholic BeveragesThe distribution of alcoholic beverages by exhibitors toattendees of legal alcohol drinking age, and consumptionof alcoholic beverages in the exhibit hall, is permitted in theexhibitor’s booth on show days between 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm(one hour after official show closing). Exhibitors wishing tohave after-hours service must submit a written request toShow Management, as security will need to be notified. Allbeverages must conform to the Centerplate catering rulesof stocking, distribution and use of professional bartenders.Pre-Show AdmittanceExhibitors are not allowed to bring groups of customersor press in their booth before the daily show openingeach morning.Exhibitors’ Bake Staff — Early AdmittanceDue to the need for early preparation of baked goods,exhibitor badges will have access to the show floor startingat 6:00 am on show days.3

RULES & REGULATIONSAmericans with Disabilities ActAll exhibitors will be responsible for compliance with theAmericans with Disabilities Act. The exhibitor shall indemnifyand hold International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE),American Bakers Association (ABA), BEMA, and theRetail Bakers of America (RBA), their directors, officers,employees, agents and/or subcontractors harmless fromany consequences of exhibitor’s failure in this regard.For more information on the Americans with DisabilitiesAct and how to make your exhibit accessible to personswith disabilities, please contact:U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights DivisionDisability Rights Section – NYA950 Pennsylvania Ave., NW Washington, D.C.20530 USA 1-800-514-0301 (Voice) 1-800-514-0383 (TTY)ada.gov NUMBER OF YEARS OF ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP: Based onABA, BEMA and RBA membership records, each membercompany will receive one priority point for every year thatthey were an active member for the period 1988 – 2019.(Membership is only tracked for one association, IBIE willnot combine points if a company is a member in two ormore associations.) NEW* IBIE HOTEL BLOCK UTILIZATION: Three points willbe awarded to the company should 75% or more ofregistered representatives for the IBIE show also bookand stay in an official IBIE hotel. Housing lists andregistration lists will be compared after IBIE 2022 and theawarded point will be added for the IBIE 2025 showpriority point calculation. This is a new accumulationcriterion and is not retroactive to past shows. SQUARE FOOTAGE TOTALS IN PAST IBIE SHOWS(2001, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019)Points are totaled for the seven shows.100 – 400 sq.ft. 1 point401 – 1000 sq.ft. 2 pointsArrangement of Exhibits1001 – 2500 sq.ft. 3 pointsAll exhibitors shall arrange displays utilizing only the bootharea contracted for, and in such a manner that recognizesthe rights of other exhibitors and show visitors andconforms to the overall pattern developed by IBIE.4001 5 pointsAssignment of Exhibit Space PoliciesFirst space assignments will be selected by ABA, BEMAand RBA members who have submitted completecontracts with the appropriate initial deposit in a timelymanner as determined by IBIE in its sole discretion. All suchspace selections will be governed by the order of theposted Priority Point Chart.Contracts Open: April 19, 2021Contracts & Deposits Due: May 17, 2021Top 30 - Space Selection: June 28-29, 2021Round 1 - Space Selection: July 13-15Priority Point Accumulation ProcessAll current ABA, BEMA and RBA members have a specialpriority period to select space (before non-member pastexhibitors and prospects). Each member company will beassigned “Priority Points” based on several criteria: LOYALTY PROGRAM: One point will be awarded for eachshow that a company participated in from 1977 – 2019.2501 – 4000 sq.ft. 4 pointsNOTE: Each of these criteria points are also assigned on a“weighted” factor, determined and approved by the IBIE Committee.In the case of two or more companies having the same numberof Priority Points, the amount of square footage in the prior showwill be used as the tie-breaker.Booth Selection ProcessShow Management will compile this data based on thespace applications and deposits that are received orpostmarked by 11:59 pm CT on the published deadline foreach round (see timeline chart). Show Management willstrictly adhere to this deadline date, with no exceptions forlate submission of applications. Companies will be notifiedby email of their Priority Points, instructions and call-indate for the space selection time period. Applicationsreceived after the published deadline date will be given theopportunity to select space after the initial selection andbefore the floor plan is sent to all past exhibitors.Past exhibitors who are non-members will receive theprospectus after the Priority Points selection period hasconcluded. Past exhibitors who are non-members will alsohave a priority assignment period, which will be noted intheir email communication. Thereafter, space assignmentswill be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Whenpossible, IBIE will take into consideration locationpreferences requested by an exhibitor on their ExhibitSpace—Application & Contract when making space4

RULES & REGULATIONSassignments not selected by the exhibitors during thePriority Point call in process. In all events, IBIE reservesthe right to make the final determination of all spaceassignments in the overall best interests of the Exposition.Furthermore, IBIE cannot guarantee that a particularexhibit space will be available for a particular exhibitor andreserves the right to make changes to the spaceassignments as needed (e.g., in cases of force majeure).Subletting of SpaceThe exhibitor agrees not to assign, sublet or apportionspace or any part thereof contracted for, nor to exhibit,advertise or offer for sale merchandise or services otherthan those manufactured or sold by exhibitor companyin the regular course of business. As an example, whenarticles are required for the proper demonstration oroperation of exhibit displays, in which case identificationof such articles shall be limited to the regular name plate,imprint or other identification, which in standard practiceappears normally on the article. Exhibitors may not permitnon-exhibiting company representatives, to work in theirbooths except their own dealers and representatives.In order to be listed in the Official Show Directory eachexhibiting firm must have an IBIE contract for the designatedspace on the floor plan.Selecting Space for OthersUnder the Membership Priority Selection process, exhibitorsthat are part of a larger subsidiary/parent companyarrangement have two options to pick space. Once theoption has been selected at space selection, the optioncannot be modified.OPTION 1: Sperate BoothsAn exhibitor may select space during the same spaceselection time for other profit centers, divisions,subsidiaries or companies but only if they are part of thesame company or parent corporation. Each division/subsidiary must complete their own Space Applicationand will be considered as a separate exhibit booth,accruing priority points separately.The space selected for the other wholly-owned profitcenters, divisions, subsidiaries or companies that are partof the same company or parent corporation may beadjacent to each other or in separate locations throughoutthe exhibit hall.While ABA, BEMA or RBA members may select spaceduring the same space selection time for their subsidiariesor divisions under the guidelines noted above, the memberrate of exhibit space will only apply to the portion of thebooth occupied by current member(s). The profit centers,divisions, subsidiaries or companies that are wholly-ownedparts of the same company or parent corporation mustqualify for membership status on their own to obtainmember discount on exhibit space. Each exhibiting companywill indicate its ABA, BEMA and/or RBA membership statuson the separate contract required for participation underthe subsidiary’s/division’s name. Any of the companies whodrop their membership after space has been confirmed willbe re-invoiced at the non-member rate.OPTION 2: ContiguousAn exhibitor may select space during the same spaceselection time for other profit centers, divisions,subsidiaries or companies but only if they are part of thesame company or parent corporation. Each additionalcompany added will be considered an additional listing andwill NOT accrue or earn priority points for their participationat the IBIE 2022 show. Priority Points will only be earnedand accrued by the exhibitor who submits the application/deposit and selects the initial contiguous booth space.The space selected for the other wholly-owned profitcenters, divisions, subsidiaries or companies that are partof the same company or parent corporation must be inone contiguous booth.Procedures for Selection of Space for Others: Complete a separate Application & Contract for eachcompany, indicating square footage for each selection.Documentation must also be provided to IBIE at the timeof exhibit contract submission, containing proof of whollyowned corporate status of affiliated companies in orderto qualify for selecting space at the same selection time. After contracts are signed, the profit centers, divisions,subsidiaries or companies that are part of the samecompany or parent corporation will be official exhibitorsand can be listed in the Official Show Directory.This IBIE 2022 Priority Points Policy and Procedureoriginate on the online IBIE 2022 Exhibit Space Contract.Please refer to this online exhibit space contract for thelatest version of this policy and procedure. In the case ofdifferences between this Policy and Procedure statementand the online exhibit space contract, the online exhibitspace contract will rule. IBIE management reserves theright to make changes without notice, and its decisionis final.All Exhibitors should frequently review their spacelocation and changes to neighboring booths/areas forupdates to the floor plan. It is the Exhibitor’s responsibilityto keep up with changes to their assigned area. IBIEanticipates alterations to the initial floor plan and cannotbe held responsible for changes that may affect aparticipating Exhibitor’s selection of space.5

RULES & REGULATIONSAttendee Lists (Use of)A complimentary list of IBIE 2022 attendees, including name,title, company, address, phone number, and registrationtype, is provided to each exhibitor in Excel format, uponconclusion of the show. The attendee list does not includeemail addresses. Show Management is not able to providetechnical support in the use of this Excel document. Due tothe sensitive content of the list, IBIE requires that youcarefully review and comply with the Attendee List policy.By opening the Excel document, you and your companyagree that the IBIE 2022 Attendee List is intended solelyfor use by the companies who purchased exhibit spaceat IBIE 2022, and approved IBIE partner organizations.The IBIE 2022 Attendee List is confidential and proprietaryto IBIE. This list is provided as a courtesy and a benefitto exhibitors and approved IBIE partner organizations.Exhibitors and IBIE partner organizations shall not sell,distribute, or otherwise provide the Attendee List to anyoutside organization, consultant, or service.Any violation of this policy may result in the forfeiture ofexhibit space in future IBIE events at the sole discretion ofIBIE and/or forfeiture of membership privileges within itssponsoring organizations, ABA, BEMA and/or RBA. This listwill be seeded with numerous additions so that IBIE willknow if the list is being used inappropriately.Copyright 2019, all rights reserved. Reproduction withoutwritten permission is strictly prohibited. Federal copyrightlaw prohibits unauthorized reproduction by any means andimposes fines of up to 25,000 for violations.Balloons, Drones, Radio-Operated Air DevicesHelium or air-filled balloons or any other helium filled objectsmay not be distributed or used as part of exhibitors’ displays.All lighter than air objects are prohibited. Radio-operatedblimps, drones and similar devices are not permitted inany area of the Exposition, including but not limited to theexhibit halls, meeting rooms, hallways and concourses.Booth Display Diagrams Must Be Submittedfor Booths 400 Sq. Ft. or LargerALL exhibitors with booths of 400 square feet arerequired to submit a detailed, scaled layout of their exhibitspace to IBIE by Monday, June 13, 2022. Failure to do somay result in a delay in the contractor(s) fulfilling ordersfor labor, furnishings or other requests.Cancellation of Exhibit SpaceAn exhibitor may cancel or withdraw from the show subjectto the following conditions and restrictions: The exhibitor shall give IBIE notice in writing of itsintention to cancel or withdraw from the show. In the event the said notice is received by IBIE on or beforeOctober 15, 2021, the exhibitor shall be obligated and agreesto pay a cancellation penalty of 25% of the contract value. In the event the said notice is received after October 15,2021, but on or before January 31, 2022, the exhibitor shallbe obligated and agrees to pay a cancellation penalty of50% of the contract value. In the event the said notice is received after January 31,2022, the exhibitor shall be obligated and agrees to pay100% of the contract value. All refunds due will be paid to exhibitor no later than60 days after the close of the Exposition. In the event of cancellation, IBIE shall have the right touse said space to suit its own convenience, includingselling the space to another exhibitor, without any rebateor allowance to the cancelled exhibitor. IBIE assumes no responsibility and exhibitor waives anyclaims against IBIE for having included the name of thecancelled exhibitor or description of their products in theshow catalog, brochures, news releases or other materialsconcerning the show.6
