Greetings and welcome to theOhio Genealogical Society 2021 Conference!The theme “Bringin’ It Home” has a special meaningthis year. Because of the pandemic, this year’sconference will be virtual. That being said, theConference Committee has made every effort to makeyour conference experience feel as “in person” aspossible. There will be opportunities to listen to andinteract with well known speakers on a range of subjectsthat will interest you and, hopefully, help you in movingyour research forward. And although we will not be ableto gather as usual for the luncheons and dinners, thereare opportunities to share your meals with well-knownspeakers, as well as recognize the newest members ofOGSour lineage societies. There will also be opportunities toCO NFEREN CEinteract with vendors and take advantage of conferencediscounts being offered.So, while this year’s conference is in a totally differentformat, there are still numerous opportunities to learn and grow your family history research andinteract with fellow genealogists. While we will not be able to meet inperson, we look forward to having you, our regular attendees, join us. We are also excited at theprospect of welcoming new attendees from around the globe, who would normally not have theopportunity to join us.We have assembled an outstanding group of presenters and engaging topics that we areconfident will be informative.
